3 November 2006: Views of the lava flow from its vent

  Regis Etienne filming the flow. The source of the flow. Fast flowing lava.
Wide-angle view of the flow. The lava flow, people in the clouds löeft of the flow for scale. Same as above, but short exposures freeze the flow's movement.
The flat area beneath the summit cone where the flow is spreading.
A dare-devil guide, apparently heat resistant, approached the vent to a very short distance.
At the vent, lava is flowing at 2 m per second inside a narrrow well defined channel.
