 'False alarm': no paroxysm on the afternoon of 25 May 2000, but a single ash eruption from the SE crater...

Yellow sulfur deposits on the pinnacle between BN and the Voragine. 
On the rim of Bocca Nuova's W pit. A new circular, ca. 5 m wide steaming vent has formed inside the Voragine.

SEC 3 June 2000
No paroxysms but quite strong winds at the TdF...(the tent is faster than Dominique !) Remaining glow from the lava flows of the 2 June afternoon paroxysm, taken the night after.
Early morning view NE towards Taormina in the background. Alcantara river cutting a gorge into basalt.
